Mantec Strengthens Filtration Sales Team

British industrial ceramics innovator Mantec Technical Ceramics has strengthened its team with the appointment of Joe Reilly as Sales Manager for Filtration Products. Joe will now take the lead in global sales of the company’s wide range of speciality porous ceramics which feature heavily in filtration, fluidisation and aeration.

Joe brings a wealth of experience to the position and has spent the last twenty five years providing engineered solutions to the process and manufacturing industries. He spent twelve years as Sales Manager with Toftejorg Ltd working primarily in the Food and Pharmaceutical industrial segments. He has more recently spent a number of years employed by Pall working in the Food and Beverage industry which leaves him well versed in the principles of filtration.

“I’m excited about the challenges presented by this position and have already been impressed by the expertise that Mantec has in developing high performance ceramic products,” said Joe. “Added to that, I look forward to this opportunity to grow the business, creating additional jobs.”

Mantec manufactures a range of porous ceramic filters for solids removal in a number of crucial industrial applications. The company has also developed the Star-Sep™ ceramic membrane – used in energy efficient crossflow microfiltration – and Puremet metal pour filters, employed extensively in the metals casting sector. All these products are sold world-wide.

Andy Clark, Business Director at Mantec Technical Ceramics, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Joe and I’m sure that his broad experience over many years will prove invaluable. We have deeper aspirations for this business segment and his appointment is part of a wider action plan for porous ceramics. We are rightly proud of our innovations in this field and our products continue to play their part in exciting industrial advancement – proving once again that world-class ceramics are still being made and shipped from Stoke-on-Trent.”
